I love the design of the book, with its printed internal covers and a fairy wren motif throughout.
It’s dedicated to my cousins because part of Willow’s story involves her cousin Fleur. The two girls are close in age and similar in appearance – but incredibly different people. The unfolding of their developing relationship was a joy to watch and write.
In a thrill for 10-year-old me, ‘Willow Bright’s Secret Plot’ is not only in the current Scholastic Book Club catalogue, but featured on the poster!
